Police are investigating a fail-to-stop road traffic collision and an assault.
The incident occurred on the 9th of November at approximately 12:00pm on Thompson street, Carlisle.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The suspect was driving a Volvo S80 which reversed into the victim’s car on Thompson Street and failed to exchange details upon request by the victim.
“The victim followed the suspect in an attempt to exchange details, which has resulted in the victim being assaulted near to the Enterprise Car park on London road.”
