At 12:58pm today, Monday 3 December firefighters were called to a report of a kitchen fire at a property on Hammond Close, Carlisle.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Crews from Carlisle East and Carlisle West used two firefighters in breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.”
