A 45-year-old man will appear at court today (January 24) charged with the murder of a 69-year-old woman from Dearham.
Lee Sowerby, 45, of Honister Drive, Workington, was charged last night (January 23) with murder following the death of Mary Annie Sowerby, known as Annie, at her home in Main Street, Dearham, on Tuesday (January 22).
Lee Sowerby is the son of Mary Sowerby.
He is scheduled to appear at North Cumbria Magistrates’ Court.E
