A MAN accused of an assault which is alleged to have occurred in Carlisle is to stand trial later this year.
Karol Szykulski, 22, appeared at the city’s crown court earlier today (MON).
He faces one which which alleges that he assaulted Krzystztof Luczak, causing actual bodily harm, on November 25.
It is said this occurred at an address in the Botcherby area.
Polish national Szykulski, assisted in court by an interpreter, pleaded not guilty the allegation he faces.
A trial, estimated to last around a day, is due to start in front of a jury at the crown court in the week of May 20.
In the meantime Szykulski, of Shaddongate, Carlisle, was granted conditional bail by Judge Peter Davies.
