At 1:52am today, Wednesday 3rd April, three fire engines from Bootle, Broughton and Millom were mobilised to a fire involving a two storey outbuilding measuring approximately five metres x twenty metres at Bootle.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Fire fighters used two jets, two nine metre ladders and two working at height safety packs to bring the fire under control.
“Crews were in attendance for one hour and forty five minutes.”
