At 3:14am today, Tuesday 7 May, two fire engines from Whitehaven and Egremont attended a fire involving an outbuilding measuring approximately 5 metres x 3 metres on Copeland Avenue, Egremont.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescie Service spokesman said: “Firefighters used three hose reels, one breathing apparatus and one triple extension ladder to extinguish the fire.
“Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and twenty minutes.”
