During April Muffin Break in the Lanes Shopping Centre, Carlisle, have raised over £500 with a new and innovative way to help the care, support and activities provided to local people with life limiting illnesses.
Over a three-week period, Muffin Break hosted an iClaw machine, supplied by Leisurematic Ltd, in the store. The machine provided customers with the opportunity to win exclusive vouchers for Muffin Break’s freshly made muffins, whilst supporting Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice.
The kindness and generosity of Muffin Break’s customers helped to raise £506 in aid of Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw. The money raised will help the local charity to provide the highest standards of care and compassion to local children and adults with life limiting illnesses. All the care and compassion is extended to the patients family, friends and carers.
