Five candidates are set to stand in a by-election for a Cumberland Council ward next month.
Voters can go to the polls on Thursday August 20 in the Harraby South ward in Carlisle for the unitary authority.
The following people have been nominated to stand in the by-election:
- Ruth Elizabeth Alcroft, The Labour Party
- Rob Currie, The Conservative Party
- Stuart Kelly, Liberal Democrats
- Rose-Ellen Kemp, Green Party
- Josh Kirkwood, Reform UK
