A Carlisle resident has been treated for burns following an explosion.
Fire crews were called at 9:04am yesterday, Monday 17 June.
Two fire engines from Carlisle attended the incident on Raffles Avenue, Carlisle.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “The incident was an explosion involving a cooker in a domestic property, one casualty was treated for burns and handed over to paramedics.
“Fire service were on scene for approximately forty five minutes.”
