Police are investigating an assault that occurred at approximately 7:15pm on 19th June in the area of Central Avenue, Carlisle.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “An 18-year-old man was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmly and is a critical but stable condition.
“Officers would like to speak with the owner and occupants of a blue Ford Fiesta which was in the area at the time.”
