Construction firm sponsors Bike Park Dent Mountain Bike Racing Team

Bike Park Dent Mountain Bike racing team has a new sponsor.

William King Brickwork Solutions Ltd, a family run business based at Cleator Moor, has announced it will sponsor the local mountain bike racing team for the next year, as part of its commitment to support local communities.

The sponsorship will see William King Brickwork Solutions Ltd support the mountain bike team with financial support for the coming season.

Bike Park Dent Mountain Bike Racing Team have raced enduro mountain biking for four years. The team will compete in races across the UK and in France in July.

Enduro mountain biking is becoming the hot sport for outdoor adventure enthusiasts.

The races usually consist of approximately 20 Miles of riding with usually 6 to 8 times downhill stages through the route. The quickest overall time wins.

Tom and Aiden who form the team said “We got to know Will up the local biking trails where we have been riding for years. The sponsorship from William King is a great support for the upcoming race season, we were overwhelmed and thankful”

William King, Director of the business said “As a lifelong mountain biker, I jumped at the chance to be part of the development of local race team, Bike Park Dent. Mountain bike racing is a fantastic sport and I am really impressed with Tom and Aiden’s ability. The lads have already picked up an array of top 10 results in national races this season. This sponsorship will give them a good foundation to attract further sponsorship and overall help propel these fantastic young athletes to the next level.”

William King Brickwork Solutions Ltd works for both private and public sector clients. The family business employs 40 people from their office in Cleator Moor.
