Caldew School students celebrate GCSE results

Students and staff at Caldew School are celebrating their GCSE results.

Vicki Jackson Headteacher said: “We are very proud of our student’s achievements in their GCSE examinations. We are very pleased with these results that continue our good track record at GCSE. I want to congratulate all of our students for these results that are a testament to their dedication, resilience and hard work.”

Standout results include:

Thomas and Eleanor Storey

Thomas Storey who achieved 8 grade 9s in English Language, English Literature, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computing, Geography and Religion, Philosophy and Ethics and 2 grade 8s in Maths and French

Abi Little who achieved 6 grade 9s in English Literature, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography and Religion, Philosophy and Ethics, grade 8 in Maths, grade 7 in English Language grade B in IT CIDA and grade 6 French

Clark Beken

Clark Beken who achieved 5 grade 9s in English Literature, Biology, Physics, Geography and History, 3 grade 8s in English Language, Chemistry and Computing and 2 grade 7s in Maths and PE

Arran Thompson achieved 5 grade 9s in English Literature, Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, 2 grade 8s in English Language and History and 1 grade 5 in French

Billy Harding

Billy Harding who achieved 5 grade 9s in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, 1 grade 7 in Computing, 3 grade 6s in English Literature, English Language and PE.

Amy Lee who achieved 4 grade 9 in English language, Maths, Biology and Physics, 2 grade 8s in Chemistry and Computing, 3 grade 7s in English Literature, History and Art and 1 grade 5 in French.

Macie Coupland Nunn

Macie Coupland Nunn who achieved 3 grade 9s in Biology, Physics and History along with 2 grade 8s in Chemistry and Religion, 3 grade 7s in Englsih Language, English literature and Maths and a further 1 grade 6s and 1 grade 5.

Ruby Marix Whitlock who achieved 3 grade 9s in English Language, Geography and Art along with 2 grade 8s in Chemistry and Physics and 3 grade 7s in Maths, Biology and Spanish and 2 grade 6s in English literature and Drama.

Mia Mullen who achieved 2 grade 9s in Art and Business Studies, 2 grade 8s in History and English Language, 4 grade 7s in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and English Literature, and 2 grade 6s.

Emma Gornall who achieved 2 grade 9s in Biology and DT, 3 grade 8s in History, Business Studies and Physics, 3 grade 7s in English Literature, English Language and Chemistry and 1 grade 6.
