Two Fire Engines have been mobilised to reports of a kitchen fire at Burgh by Sands.
Fire crews were called at 5:20pm on Saturday 24 August.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “On arrival the kitchen was well alight and crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and positive pressure ventilation to extinguish the fire.
“Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour.”
