New season at Blencowe Badminton Club

Blencowe Badminton Club is based at the Sports Centre at QEGS, Ullswater Road – a central location in Penrith that has a state of the art six court sports hall built to Badminton England specifications.

The club meets weekly on Wednesday evenings all the year round, with the new season starting on 4th September from 7.30pm to 10pm.

Perfect for all abilities and ages, including juniors.

Coaching is available from a club qualified coach from September to early January. Besides weekly Club nights the Club also has 3 mixed teams and 2 Doubles teams in the Penrith & District Badminton League, giving those who wish to progress to team play ample opportunity of competing locally.

If you are interested in coming along, your first visit to the Club is free; racquets are available to borrow and you will be a guaranteed a warm welcome and opportunities to play and improve your game with players of all abilities in a friendly and encouraging environment.
