A new dining initiative in Cockermouth will see great fixed-price dining deals at nearly 20 venues across the town.
Taste CA13 is Cockermouth’s celebration of local food and showcases all the fantastic restaurants and eateries in and around the town. The initiative was created by Cockermouth & District Chamber of Trade and will run from Wednesday, October 16th to Sunday, November 10th 2019.

Andrew Marshall, chairman of the Chamber of Trade, said: “This celebration of local food is a great promotion of our fabulous town, as local businesses work together. This event will show case our fantastic range of eateries and deliver great value to all customers who take part.
“It’s really easy for diners. They simply choose their venue and the offer they want – the deals are colour coded so that it’s simple to spot the prices. Then they must reserve a table so the venue knows they’re taking advantage of the CA13 deal. Then they can sit back, relax and enjoy some of the best food our town and its surrounding villages have to offer.”
Manon Plouffe, owner of Wild Zucchinis Bistro in Station Street, adds: “We are really looking forward to taking part in the event. It’s great to see local restaurant and eateries working together to put on this great celebration of local food delivering fantastic value and service to our customers.”
Any business with a CA13 postcode is welcome to join Cockermouth & District Chamber of Trade. It costs just £20 per year to join and that automatically gives members a presence on the www.cockermouthonline.co.uk website. Enhanced listings cost an additional £30.
