Police are investigating an assault which happened inside the Hot Potato takeaway on William Street, Barrow at around 4am on Sunday (8 December).
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A man was assaulted by another unknown man wearing a white T-shirt who had black hair and a black beard.”
Anyone with information is asked to call PC 2661 on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting log 45 of the 8th December.
