Police are investigating a burglary which occurred in the Howgill Street area of Whitehaven on 15th January.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “At about 12.15am it was reported that a man dressed in dark clothing, wearing a dark coloured pompom hat entered a flat on the street and stole a black parka jacket and around £15 in cash.”
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen suspicious behaviour in the area, or anyone with information to call PC 2763 on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting log 2 of the 15th January.
