Police would like to reassure people that there is no perceived risk to the public following reports of a burglary at an address in the Belle Vue area of Carlisle, which happened in the early hours of yesterday morning (11th February).
Armed police were deployed to the area as a safety precaution.
Detective Inspector Andy Donnelly said: “We have launched an investigation into an incident on Moorhouse Road. This is an isolated incident and I’d like to reassure the public that no one has been injured and that we have a team of detectives working hard to establish the circumstances.”
