Police are investigating a theft from a vehicle in which a firearm and a STIHL chainsaw was stolen in Carlisle.
The firearm was a .25-06 Tikka bolt action rifle. It was taken from the parked vehicle of a licensed firearms holder on Kingmoor Business Park between 8am and 10.30pm on Thursday (March 12).
Police are seeking any information about any suspicious activity on Kingmoor Business Park during this time.
Officers are also seeking any information about the theft or any information about the current location of the firearm. There is no perceived threat to the public.
