A Carlisle man was expected in court today (MON) charged with a sexual assault on a female, the allegation was from June 27 last year, in that he intentionally touched a woman aged over 16 and the touching was sexual when she did not consent and he did not reasonably believe she was consenting.
Eddie Craig, 29, of Gisland Road, Harraby, Carlisle, was in the building of the courthouse, but did not enter the court-room, his plea was entered by lawyer Anthony Wilson, and it was one of guilty.
The case was adjourned until March 30, for pre-sentence reports to be prepared by the Probation Service.
