Carlisle College

Given the current social distancing measures in place across the UK, Carlisle College remains closed for all face to face tuition and events. To provide future students the opportunity to gain advice and guidance about apprenticeship opportunities this coming September, Carlisle College is holding its first virtual Apprenticeship Live event on Monday 20th April between 7-8pm.

Apprenticeship Live will be hosted on Zoom. Zoom is a market leader in video conferencing and allows users to join and collaborate in meetings and webinars across the globe using any device. Students and parents alike can join the Apprenticeship Team on Zoom using the following link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/426352209

Carlisle College currently works with over 700 apprentices across 350 local leading businesses and has an extensive apprenticeship provision of more than 30 programmes including Adult Care, Business Administration, Construction, Customer Service, Digital Marketing, Engineering, IT and Motor Vehicle. Our programmes range from Level 2 through to Degree Level apprenticeships.

Martin Norris, Business Development Manager said: “Carlisle College is committed to providing the best possible information, advice and guidance to post-16 learners in Cumbria. While the COVID-19 situation has meant that we have had to postpone several of our Open Evenings this year, we are delighted to be able to offer virtual alternatives, with Apprenticeship Live being the first of many planned digital events hosted by Carlisle College.

Apprenticeship Live will provide future students with the opportunity to learn more about apprenticeships, as well as a chance to speak to current apprentices and curriculum staff about what it is like to be on an apprenticeship programme.”
