Police were called at approximately 11.16am on Monday 15th June 2020, to a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the U3038 near to Southwaite.
As a result of the collision, the driver of one of the vehicles, Ronnie Robson, aged 77, from Carlisle sadly died at the scene.
Ronnie was a father of two, and had two grandchildren.
The family are currently being supported by a Family Liaison Officer.
