POLICE are investigating a theft in Kendal town centre that occurred on 31 July, between 4pm and 4:30pm.
An unknown man has approached an older man, just outside the entrance to Wainwright’s Yard, and has taken a sum of money from his wallet before walking off.
The suspect is described as a man in his late 20’s, 5ft 8in tall, of average build, with short dark hair and was wearing a black t-shirt and black trousers at the time of incident.
