Three men have been arrested after a man suffered serious injuries following a brawl outside The Pinny pub on Burrowgate in Penrith.
Police were called at 10:20pm on Saturday 19 September.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A 21-year-old man from Suffolk was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder, he has been released under investigation.
“A 34-year-old man from Cheshire was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder, he has been released under investigation.
“A 39-year-old man from North Yorkshire was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder, he has been released under investigation.
“A 20-year-old man from Dudley was taken to the Cumberland Infirmary suffering serious injuries.
“A 39-year-old man from Penrith sustained a minor injury.”
