People are urged to take part in a survey to see what the interest is in electric vehicle charging points in Keswick, Cockermouth and Wigton.
Allerdale council has joined forces with Charge My Street, a community benefit society which installs and operates community chargepoints, raising money through community shares.
It has already installed chargepoints in Cumbria, most recently in Aspatria and Dalston, and now wants to find 100 more sites across the country.
Allerdale council and Charge My Street want to gauge interest for chargepoints in Keswick, Cockermouth and Wigton.
The online survey takes around three minutes and ends on Friday, January 8.
