Police are investigating a report of a sexual assault on a woman in Ambleside.
The assault was reported to have happened at 5pm on North Road, Ambleside on Wednesday January 13.
The woman was not reported to be injured.
The man who carried out the assault was described as 5ft 9in and wore a black hoodie and black trousers.
Anyone with information is asked to call Cumbria police on 101, referring to incident 147 of January 16.
