Two 18-year-olds who burgled a Lake District home and snatched designer clothing and other personal property were warned they could be locked up for committing the crime.
Alessio Cutolo and Tyler James McShane appeared at Carlisle Crown Court remotely over separate video links.
During a short hearing, Cutolo and McShane admitted the burglary of a house at Craig Walk in Windermere on March 21 last year having entered as trespassers when both were aged 17.
The charge also states the pair stole a number of items of personal property during the break-in.
These were a Hublot watch, Louis Vuitton belt, Moncler jacket and tracksuit bottoms, along with a fake Louis Vuitton bum bag, fake Armani top and bag, and fake Gucci belt.
Recorder Ciaran Rankin adjourned the case and directed the probation service to prepare pre-sentence reports on the teens, neither of whom have any previous criminal convictions.
Cutolo, of Glebe Drive, Bowness-on-Windermere, and McShane, of Oakthwaite Road, Windermere, are due to receive their punishment at the crown court on March 2.
In the meantime they were granted bail but warned by Recorder Rankin that all options, including immediate custody, would be available on that date for what he called a “serious offence”.
