
The North West Ambulance Service has confirmed that no one has taken to hospital after two crashes on the A66.
A lane was closed on the A66 yesterday due to two overturned lorries in different locations.
The lane was shut between Stainmore and Bowes after one lorry has overturned three miles east of Bowes and the other near Stainmore Cafe.
Strong winds were affecting drivers in the area.
A spokesman for North West Ambulance Service confirmed that although they attended, no one was taken to hospital.
