One lane has reopened on the M6 in Cumbria after repairs were being carried out on a pothole.
Highways England shut a lane on the M6 southbound between junction 41 (Wigton) and junction 42 (Carlisle).
Traffic officers and maintenance crews were called to the scene.
The lane was reopened shortly before 11am this morning.
