
A 26-year-old man has been released without charge after police received reports he had threatened another man with two screwdrivers.
The Penrith man was arrested on March 12 on suspicion of wounding with intent and threatening with a bladed article.
The incident was alleged to have happened at about 4.20pm at the clock tower on Rowcliffe Lane in the town.
Cumbria Constabulary have confirmed the man has been released without charge and no further action will be taken.
