Gary Mckee – winner of the ‘Be Inspired’ award

World-famous athlete Mo Farah has backed a heroic Cumbrian fundraiser.

Gary McKee, is completing 110 marathons in 110 days by completing multiple circuits of a carefully mapped out route around his home in Cleator Moor.

He is raising cash for Macmillan Cancer Support and West Cumbria Hospice at Home and has so far raised more than £54,000.

Inspired by his efforts, double Olympic gold medallist Mo recorded a video for Gary urging people to get behind him.

“Hello everybody, it’s Mo here,” he told the video.

“Just wanted to tell you that you’ve got to get behind this great man, Gary McKee, he is running 110 marathons in 110 days.

“That is incredible to run that many marathons to raise money for charity.

“So let’s get behind him and support him. Gary, well done mate, keep it going, we are behind you all the way.”

Well Well Well…..

What do we have here??
