Carlisle College is to host a virtual workshop aimed at inspiring the next generation of apprentices.
In partnership with Carlisle City Council and regional project partners, Project: Next Gen is designed to address the aspiration gap through a range of content with a different theme each month.
As part of the project, ASK Programme North, who are working on behalf of the National Apprenticeship Service, have teamed up with Carlisle College to host a virtual workshop on interview preparation and technique, on Wednesday at 4pm live on Microsoft Teams.
The event will help individuals to gain an understanding of face-to-face and online interviews and is open to all those who may benefit from such support and advice.
Martin Norris, Business Development Manager, Carlisle College said; “We have already had a great response from local employers and organisations such as ASK Programme North, and we are so grateful for this.
The support, whether providing workshops, sharing top tips or offering an apprenticeship opportunity is really helping us tackle the aspiration gap head-on.
“Rejuvenating the imaginations and life goals of students and jobseekers across the region and making a real difference to the lives of Cumbria’s next generation.”
