Police are investigating several burglaries and attempted burglaries in an area of Carlisle overnight on Monday.
The incidents occurred in the Stanwix area.
During one of the incidents, various items were taken including two handbags and a pair of sunglasses.
During another incident, access was attempted through the front and back door of a property but was unsuccessful.
During the third incident, locks to the property were damaged in attempt to gain access. The attempt was unsuccessful.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed any of the incidents.
