A number of vehicles were stopped and tickets were issued in a week of action by police.
On Monday officers from across Cumbria took place in a regional Operation Checkpoint, alongside colleagues from Northumbria, Durham and North Yorkshire.
The multi-force operation targeted criminals travelling around the north of England and Scotland. Officers were deployed to key locations, to intercept vehicles linked to rural and wildlife crime.
As a result of the operation, numerous vehicles were stopped and tickets were issued for traffic offences. Crime prevention advice was also given regarding the security of vehicles likely to be targeted.
