A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an assault in Silloth.
Emergency services were contacted around 10.30am on May 28 to a report of an assault in the area of Pennine Close.
A 29-year-old man from Liverpool was air lifted to the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle with injuries that were believed to be serious. He was discharged shortly after.
The 19-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.
He has since been released on police bail.
