Police want to trace driver following collision near Egremont

Police want to trace the driver of a car who was seen near a traffic collision near Egremont last week.

Officers are investigating the incident, which happened at around 5pm on June 1, on the Outrigg Road crossroads between St Bees and Egremont.

A Ford Focus and a Volkswagen were involved in the incident and no injuries were reported.

Officers would like to speak to the driver of the Volkswagen that was seen in the area near to the time of incident.

Anyone with information is encouraged to report online at www.cumbria.police.uk/reportit  quoting incident number 219 of 1 June.
