A casualty was extracted from their vehicle after a crash.
Three fire engines and paramedics were called to Lyth near Kendal shortly after 9.30am yesterday.
The crash involved a large goods vehicle.
After being freed from the vehicle the casualty was handed over to the care of North West Ambulance Service.
