Carlisle professional Michael Slack will lead Cumbria in their final NCA Trophy group game at Netherfield on Sunday.
Slack takes over as captain because regular skipper Gary Pratt is unavailable this Sunday.
If they beat visitors Shropshire they will earn a home tie in the quarter finals, having already qualified after three straight wins.
They have already beaten Cheshire, Staffordshire and Northumberland and complete their group fixtures against a Shropshire side who cannot qualify as group runners-up.
Carlisle batsman, Ben Davidson who was 12th man at Northumberland last Sunday will take Pratt’s place in the line-up and Marcus Stables, the former Cockermouth batsman joins the squad.
Otherwise Cumbria will be unchanged from the side which thrashed Northumberland by nine wickets to clinch their place in the quarter finals.
The line-up: Michael Slack (captain, Carlisle), Sam Dutton (Blackpool), Nathan Waterston (Furness), Ben Davidson (Carlisle), Matthew Sempill (Cockermouth), Paul Hindmarch (Cockermouth), Tom Benn (Carlisle), Nico Watt (Wigton), Sam Sharp (Cockermouth), James McGown (Keswick), Matthew Siddall (Blackpool). 12th man: Marcus Stables (Astley and Tyldesley).
The match at the Netherfield ground gets underway at 11am.
