
Cumbria all-rounder Paul Hindmarch limped out of aT20 game at Cockermouth last night after bowling only seven deliveries.
Hindmarch is due to line up for the county at Netherfield on tomorrow in their final group game with Shropshire in the NCA Trophy.
He also has an important Cumbria League game this afternoon for Cockermouth at Carlisle.
The club professional at Cockermouth, the injury capped a disappointing night for the hosts as they lost to an outstanding team performance from Workington.
Winning the toss and batting, Workington had got off to a quick start but lost wickets at regular intervals just when it looked a big score was in the offing.
There were contributions right down the order from Callum Sutton (19), professional Lahiru Dilsham (30 off 19),Matt Gorley (19 off 18) and Thomas Fox(19), so 141-8 was a decent score.
Matthew Sempill took 2-15 from four overs for Cockermouth who were clearly hampered when Hindmarch was forced out of the attack.
After a quick ten runs from skipper Gareth White, Alex Grainger (45) and Sempill (37) added 78 before Workington broke through and in a flurry of wickets 92-1off 13 ended as 121-7 after 20.
Matt Lowden (2-16) and Adam Chambers (2-15) took vital wickets for the jubilant winners.
