
Train passengers are urged to check their journey if they are planning to travel on the Cumbrian coast line.
Yesterday’s services were cancelled by train operator Northern due to COVID-19 and today, some services will be cancelled and replacement bus services are on standby.
Several train drivers and conductors who work for Northern have either been diagnosed with coronavirus or been asked to self-isolate following Track and Trace notifications.
Many of the affected staff are based in Barrow and Workington.
