A pedestrian and cycle route in Carlisle is to close for between five and seven weeks.
New bridge decking is to be installed on Skew Bridge, next to Lidl in Denton Holme, which means it will close for an estimated period of between five and seven weeks.
The route will be closed from Monday.
It is part of the cycle path from Carlisle to Dalston south of the city following the course of the River Caldew.
It will be given a £70,000 upgrade after funding was agreed by Carlisle City Council earlier this year.
