People in Cumbria are being invited to have their say on their experience of mental health services in the county.
Research network Emerging Minds has teamed up with Cumbrian news and entertainment platform Hollr to offer young people the opportunity to have their voices heard by researchers to help create real and meaningful change in the UK.
The project will end with the creation of a graffiti/street art mural on a public wall space in West Cumbria.
The mural will be an exciting finale to the project and will give young people (16-25) the chance to get involved in its physical creation, design, and to decide on its overarching theme.
The research focuses on these key questions:
- What do young people need in order to take responsibly for their own mental health?
- What does society need to do to support young people to take responsibility for their own mental health?
A drop-in session will take place on Thursday.
