Food delivery driver robbed by three men in Carlisle

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Carlisle in the early hours of yesterday.

Officers were called to the incident on Dale End Road at around 2.15am.

A 26-year-old man was delivering food and alcohol and was threatened by three men who made off with the delivery.

The man suffered minor injuries.

The following three men were arrest and charged with robbery:

  • Billy Moorhead, 34, of Hawick Street, Carlisle
  • George Alexandru-Pruna, 28, of Warwick Square, Carlisle
  • Jonathan Rodger, 41, of Cumwhinton Road, Carlisle.

All three are to appear at North West Magistrates tomorrow.

Officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area between 1.50am and 2.20am.
