Officers are investigating a number of caravan thefts in north Cumbria.
Police are appealing for witnesses with any dashcam or CCTV footage to contact police.
These incidents include:
- On Saturday, August 21 at around 11.35pm at Whitesyke Business Park, Longtown two caravans were taken, and damage was caused to two fences. Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has dashcam around the time in the area or near the A7.
- On Sunday, August 22 between 10.30pm and 9am on August 23 two caravans were taken from Brow Nelson, Dalston.
- On Friday, August 27 between 11pm and 8am on August 28 a caravan was taken from Kingstown, Carlisle.
A police spokesman said: “Enquiries are ongoing into each of these incidents and we would encourage anyone with any information to contact us.
“We would like to remind the public there are simple steps that they can take to protect their property, such as locks, security lights or cameras to deter opportunists.”
