A popular Workington cafe has been broken into and a large amount of soft drinks and homemade cakes stolen.
Police are investigating the incident at Tognarelli’s on Pow Street, which occurred between Wednesday September 1 at 4.30pm and Thursday September 2 at 8am.
Officers are asking for witnesses to come forward as it is believed the burglars climbed onto the out house roof behind the cafe and entered the premises.
