Ethan Walker, who spent last season on loan with Carlisle United, has been sent out on loan again by parent club Preston North End.
EFL clubs are still allowed to send players out on loan to non-league sides even though the summer transfer window has closed so Walker has linked up with AFC Fylde.
Walker, 19, has joined the National League North side on a temporary basis for a month and will be hoping to get more senior experience in what is regarded as a very competitive league.
Walker knows what it’s like at non-league level as he has previously spent a short time away from Deepdale on loan at Stalybridge Celtic (three appearances) and Altrincham (two games).
During the 2020/21 campaign, Walker was on loan with Carlisle United and although he did have some injury issues played 16 times for the Cumbrians. Although failing to get on the scoresheet the Preston-born winger did have an assist to his name.
