A road is set to be closed "for some time" after a crash involving a motorbike and a tractor.

A road is set to be closed “for some time” after a crash involving a motorbike and a tractor.

Paramedics are treating the motorcyclist on scene on the A6 north of Penrith.

The collision happened just south of Milestone House. 

The road is closed in both directions between Penrith and the Stoneybeck Roundabout and is expected to remain shut for some time. People are asked to avoid the area. 

If you witnessed the collision or the moments leading up to it, contact police referencing incident 115 of September 17.
