A dump truck and power tools have been taken from a building site in an east Cumbrian village.
Police are investigating the incident, believed to have happened overnight at the site of a new housing estate in Hackthorpe.
It is believed the truck and tools were taken from the Lonsdale Park development, being built by Genesis Homes, although this has not been confirmed by police.
Officers are looking for any witnesses who were in the area between 6pm yesterday and 7am today and witnessed anything suspicious or any dashcam footage of anyone passing through Hackthorpe on the A6 and captured anyone or vehicles leaving the building site.
