Barrow will be without midfielder Ollie Banks for Saturday’s home clash with Leyton Orient in League Two.
The widely-travelled 29-year-old has been in good form for the Holker Street club this season but is a victim of the totting-up procedure.
He is forced to miss the Orient game through suspension after picking up five yellow cards so far.
There is also still doubt over forward Dimitri Sea who has missed the last two matches with a hamstring problem and will be assessed before Saturday.
One player who will be available for selection again is wing-back Remeao Hutton after he missed the midweek defeat by Fleetwood in the Papa John’s Trophy tie following the birth of his child.
But manager Mark Cooper still has to contend with a packed treatment room as Tom Beadling (knee), Connor Brown (groin), Jamie Devitt (thigh), Luke James (foot), Mike Jones (Achilles), Kgosi Ntlhe (knee) and Matt Platt (back) are all still out of action.
Meanwhile, Orient manager Kenny Jackett has lost striker Paul Smyth following his international call-up for Northern Ireland this weekend.
The O’s beat Crawley Town 4-0 in the Papa John’s Trophy on Tuesday and Jackett expressed his pleasure at the performance following Saturday’s 3-2 defeat by Port Vale.
“We made seven changes from the Port Vale game and included six players who had come through our youth system at the club. That was very pleasing to see and there were some good individual performances which have given me some food for thought.
“I’m looking forward to the game at Barrow. Mark Cooper is an experienced manager and he has recruited well so it will be a test for us.
“But as I always say it isn’t so much about the opposition it’s about how we perform on the day,” said Jackett.
