Keswick’s Theatre by the Lake is increasing audience capacity at some of its shows due to demand.

Home I’m Darling has proved such a hit that the theatre has altered eight performances to become full capacity audiences.

Its guaranteed socially distanced shows will not be altered and the theatre has changed 14 performances to these.

For its November show Jacaranda, three performances will become full capacity with a six additional performances becoming guaranteed socially distanced shows.

Those who cannot get to Keswick or are still shielding can take up the theatre’s digital capture of Home I’m Darling by buying their ticket online.

The digital ticket can be bought for dates between Saturday October 23 and Saturday October 30 inclusive.

Theatre by the Lake’s artistic director Liz Stevenson said: “We’re absolutely delighted that our audiences are coming back in such numbers.

“We’ve worked hard to ensure there are options for everybody to access our work in a variety of different scenarios and that our COVID safety measures are robust, meeting the needs and expectations of our audience.

“We’ve had fantastic feedback from audiences and it’s just wonderful to have the building buzzing with audiences and activity again.”
